(Al-Baqara) 2 : 55
وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَىٰ لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ
And you remember when you said: “Oh Moses, we will never believe in you until we see Lord Allah openly”, so the thunderbolts seized you while you were looking on.
